I love a decorated envelope! It just makes your card look so much more complete and from the first glimpse of a pretty envelope, you know there’s something awesome inside!
Most of the time, I at least stamp a little sneak peek of the stamp set I used on the card.

Other times, I like to line the envelope with DSP that coordinates with the card.

So when I saw this set in the January-April Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog, I knew it was for me! https://www.stampinup.com/products/addressed-to-you-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?demoid=2311688
I only had enough time to make a couple to share with you but there are SO many more combinations!
I used Stampin’ Blends https://www.stampinup.com/account/links?demoid=2311688 but you could also use Watercolor Pencils https://www.stampinup.com/products/watercolor-pencils-assortment-2?demoid=2311688
I live in Idaho so, of course, the first one I grabbed was the pine trees

CUTE CUTE CUTE! But then I checked out the oval and colored the trees a little.

That’s a keeper for sure!
Everyone has a birthday! So I used the party balloons and colored them in.

So fun!
But then I thought about how lovely these little flowers would be in literally ANY color and tried my hand at Calypso Coral…a long time favorite of mine.

I was a little nervous because I have been using my watercolor pencils so much and thought my Stampin’ Blends might be dried out from being stored for so long. But nope! As a matter of fact, they are so juicy, I recommend putting scrap paper inside your envelope while you color so it doesn’t bleed through to the backside.

There’s something very therapeutic about coloring.
Happy Stamping!
